Q: Does the CBD from topicals show on any drug tests?
A: CBD does not show up on drug tests and it is perfectly legal to consume. The cannabinoid that shows up on drug tests is THC – all of our products are independently lab tested and certified as THC-free.
Q: Can I use CBD topicals and oils at the same time or will I exceed my dose?
A: You can safely use both topicals and oils at the same time. The daily dose of CBD is calculated for CBD in the bloodstream (through sub-lingual, oral or vaping application). CBD applied topically doesn’t reach the bloodstream in any significant quantities, as it is absorbed and acts locally instead.
Q: How long will CBD topicals take to work?
The formulations of our balm and gel differ in several key areas. Our CBD Muscle Balm contains moisturising ingredients which are helpful in relieving and protecting dry skin. On the other hand, the CBD Muscle & Joint Gel contains natural extracts which focus on providing immediate, deep, cooling relief. Our CBD Muscle Balm is designed for extended massaging across large areas of muscle, whereas the CBD gel is meant to be used on joints and surrounding areas of muscle.A: As CBD topicals only act locally, they generally take a few minutes until their effects are felt. You will likely feel an immediate sensation from added ingredients (moisturisers in Skin Cream, cooling effect of Joint Gel, soothing feel of beeswax in Muscle Balm) before the CBD can bind to the local receptors.
