It’s important to talk

The NHS have launched a wonderful campaign entitled #EveryMindMatters. The aim of this is to raise awareness of the detrimental effects stress can have on our bodies and minds. They offer practical tips recommended by experts on how to properly look after your mental wellbeing, touching on subjects such as children’s mental health and self-care for young people.

When we’re stressed, we have a tendency to bottle it up in the hope that it will eventually subside. But this kind of strategy can be seriously harmful. According to a study from The Workplace Health Report, an astounding 74% of people have felt so overwhelmed by stress that they are unable to cope.
